As I write this blog in May 2020 we are in the middle of lockdown due to Coronavirus. You're probably thinking, we all know that, and your right. However, I'm hoping this post might be evergreen. As writers, and readers, we cannot have escaped the fact that the publishing industry is in disarray. Bookshops are closed, book launches are being postponed and publishers have had to shut up shop (physically) and move what they can to a work from home scenario. This leaves authors who are launching books or, indeed, selling existing books, in a difficult position. Thankfully, readers can still buy books digitally and ebook sales are increasing, maybe not exponentially, but at least increasing. Bookshops are also sending out copies of paperbacks where they have stock. People are looking for things to do and are discovering or rediscovering a love for reading. Therefore, I thought I would give a little bit of help to a few of my ACW friends in this blog. In times of trouble...
