It's that time again when we stand on the cusp of a new year. The past is now firmly behind us, although the past two years are not ones we will forget in a hurry. On social media many people are saying they are not looking forward to the year ahead and I can understand that. Yet, I stare into the year full of hope both personally and professionally. As a writer, I have all sorts of projects planned. Yes, planned. Despite the fact most plans have been disrupted over the past two years I am still filled with hope and expectation that this year will be different. Why do I feel this way? - because I have put systems in place to reach my goals. Because I believe that I can achieve what I want to achieve. Yes, we are in the middle of a pandemic but the only person that can stop me doing what I want to do professionally is me.
