That I Would See The Goodness Of The Lord By Julie Prentice

It’s amazing that I find myself a blogger for ACW. If you had said to me ten years ago that I was going to write a postcard let alone a blog or a book or lead an NCW writers group I would have said ‘No Way’ but I became a Christian in 2005 which led me a different way and on 25/6/07 I had a visitation which changed my life.
I had been pouring out my heart in prayer and at the end of it I felt my spirit stir and say ‘All things work together for the good for those who love God.’ Then I fell asleep. When I awoke it was still dark and as my thoughts resurfaced I felt a tear roll down my cheek. Why did life have to get so complicated?
Then something quite remarkable happened. As I wiped the tear away another sprang up, suddenly there were tears running all down my face but I wasn’t crying. It was as if my tears were soothing me, then I felt someone wiping my face.
“These are my tears and they will heal you” He said. I felt they were caressing me and it filled me with such a sense of love and peace. “Come, take my hand and walk with me for you are my child, I will fill your heart with my love and heal all your hurts.”
Together we stepped up onto a steel platform and the darkness of my bedroom soon became forgotten as we walked out into the bright sunshine. “Look what I have for you” He said pointing up.
Above me was a line of liquid gold, it was stretched across the sky, and then ran down before me like a waterfall. It was beautiful. I really didn’t know what to say, I was so consumed by this feeling of love, so I just thanked Him for all the good things He had given me.
I know the plans I have for you,” He said as He waved and walked off ahead. Although I knew He had not gone, His hand was in mine always.
Suddenly I was sitting under a beautiful tree, the leaves were all around me and as the wind blew gently they began to rustle and I heard them whisper, “Write, write.”
I looked down, there was a book lying open in front of me and a pen in my hand.
This is the tree of life, this is my chance to make my life worthwhile I thought. The Lord is leading me to live my best life from now on. What a blessing! It was then the words flashed in front of me
And on either side of the river was the tree of life …….. And the leaves of the tree were for the healing of the Nations
So I started to write.
I feel the Lord wants me to share His heart

Yours Truly
