Life hasn't completely started to kick in just yet but even while I'm rejoicing that I've managed to stick to my New Year's aims on my two work days this week, I'm wondering if I'll be able to keep it up.

Looking forward to our joint oasis at Scargill in June...! xScamperhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10777425117697788921noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1643092331729126387.post-73207708665065962012017-01-05T11:09:28.352+00:002017-01-05T11:09:28.352+00:00I wound down so much over Christmas that I began t...I wound down so much over Christmas that I began to feel slothful and guilty. It's back to dropping kids off this morning and an early morning dog walk rather than a lazy start. I feel so much better. There's a time to rest and a time to work. It's about getting the balance right and finding God in both.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/06467123984626989087noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1643092331729126387.post-3710282027090533332017-01-05T09:34:37.094+00:002017-01-05T09:34:37.094+00:00Reading this in my first quiet hour of the first d...Reading this in my first quiet hour of the first day that the children have gone back to school, I can understand it in a sort of upside-down way! I've been finding that I can't take Sabbath from everything at once. Sabbath from work (and writing) means harder work in the house and with the family, while Sabbath from children means time to write and maybe even to dream. I'll take this article as a reminder to be grateful for whichever thing I'm able to rest from at the time!A(me)https://www.blogger.com/profile/06407417460797812800noreply@blogger.com
